I am reminded of my love for the sun whenever I hear this song...and of course Yellow. Mr. Yellow and I met sometime ago . The first time I caught glimpse of Yellow was at the store Anthropologie and it was love at first sight. Soon enough and over time I realized I really had fallen for yellow. It was even more clear to me when I was picking the color palette for my living room and I couldn't get Yellow out of my mind. And so here's where it began:

Yellow and I have been happily together for many years now, and even with new addition of grey we are more content then ever. I hope you find your yellow too.

I love light. natural or faux a room with light makes me smile. and so it was no surprise that while I designed my new space my biggest obsession was amazing lighting centerpieces. Iconic, full of character, chandeliers win my heart every time . It's amazing how much personality these fixtures exude. And of course they light up any room ;). Glasses have become my new favorite accessory. I am not going to lie. Those days I know I need to get things done...my wayfarer glasses become my friends. A surge of intellectual productivity takes over and sure enough my to do list is all checked off by the end of the day.
Please note, however, I would never sacrifice fashion for this geeky accessory. And so, I look to my favorite eyeglass makers such Oliver Peoples to ensure that the glasses make my outfit complete. Chic geek is the only way to go.

Michael Kors 'Bel Aire' Chronograph Watch - $250

In the words of Steve Jobs, 'timing is limited'...and so, you have to make the most it, be as functional as you can possibly be allowing you to eventually do what you love. And who said functionality can't be fashionable? One of the most innovative leaders in this century did just that with macbooks, i-pad/pod/phone, i-everything and more. I believe if your computer can be sexy and fabulous, there is no reason your watch shouldn't be.

To be honest, I can't say I am the most punctual individuals, but perhaps if I add one of these watches to my collection, I would be :) ? Just a thought! And so here I am swooning over this Rose Gold Michael Kors watch. I absolutely love the contrast of a the soft rose against the Caviar Navy face. But there are so many more to choose from.
